Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family. We will request that you complete our patient forms located in the New Patient Center. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition.
Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Judd Lowrey to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Judd Lowrey to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.
After your consultation, Dr. Judd Lowrey will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will also be performed. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Depending on your specific condition, we may take X-rays as well. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.
After reviewing your health history, goals, and examining x-rays and tests, Dr. Judd Lowrey will discuss recommendations with you. He will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions you may have, including:
If Dr. Judd Lowrey believes we can help you, he will recommend the best course of treatment and wellness program for your needs. If you have a condition that requires care with other providers, he will tell you that too.
Following your initial appointment, most patients experience their first treatment. The treatment may include spinal adjustments, physical therapy modalities, and/or soft tissue treatments. Treatment is interactive, so we will address any questions or concern you may have before starting treatment.
Prior to leaving, the doctor will suggest a wellness program to incorporate at home. If you desire, our wellness team will work with you to create healthy habits and routines that will help support your success. The purpose of our wellness program is for you to maintain healthy posture and good spinal alignment, eating a healthy diet, taking supplements, maintaining a healthy weight and stress relief.
